Acht Hochschulsportgruppen bei Benefizveranstaltung am 10. Mai
Erstmalig veranstaltet der Hochschulsport eine Benefizveranstaltung. Acht Gruppen treten dabei am 10. Mai im Hörsaal des Seminarraumgebäudes I auf. Ziel ist es, Spenden für die Opfer der Erdbeben in der Türkei und Syrien zu sammeln.
Am 10. Mai wird es eine bunte Show des Hochschulsports auf dem Campus der TU Dortmund geben. In einer knapp zweistündigen Show treten insgesamt zehn Gruppen des Hochschulsports im Hörsaal des SRG I auf. Initiiert wurde diese Aktion von der Gruppe der Anatolischen Volkstänze, da viele Tänzer*innen dieser Gruppe unmittelbar durch Personen aus ihrem Umfeld von dem verheerenden Erdbeben Anfang Februar betroffen sind.
Folgende Gruppen aus dem Hochschulsport erklärten sich sofort bereit mit einem sportlichen Beitrag diese Aktion zu unterstützen:
Anatolische Volkstänze, Cheerleading, Hiphop & Dancehall Choreography, Modern Dance, Standard & Latein, Tango Argentino und Zirkus. Darüber hinaus wird die Hochschulgruppe “Albanischer Tanz“ auftreten.
Beginn wird um 19:30 Uhr sein (Einlass ab 19 Uhr) und der Eintritt ist frei. Da die Plätze begrenzt sind, empfehlen wir eine vorherige Anmeldung.
Alle Besucher*innen werden gebeten zu Spenden. Diese können bar vor Ort geleistet werden oder auf das Konto der Gesellschaft der Freunde der TU Dortmund überwiesen werden. Die Gesamtsumme wird im Anschluss an Unicef gespendet.

Eight university sports groups at benefit event on 10 May
For the first time, the University Sports Department is organising a benefit event. Eight groups will be performing on 10 May in the lecture hall of seminar room building I. The aim is to collect donations for the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
On 10 May, there will be a colourful show by the University Sports Department on the TU Dortmund campus. In a show lasting almost two hours, a total of ten university sports groups will perform in the SRG I lecture hall. This event was initiated by the Anatolian Folk Dances group, as many of the dancers in this group were directly affected by the devastating earthquake at the beginning of February.
The following groups from the university sports department immediately agreed to support this event with a sporting contribution:
Anatolian Folk Dances, Cheerleading, Hiphop & Dancehall Choreography, Modern Dance, Standard & Latin, Tango Argentino and Circus. In addition, the university group "Albanian Dance" will perform.
The performance will start at 7:30 pm (admission from 7 pm) and admission is free. As places are limited, we recommend that you register in advance.
All visitors are asked to make donations. These can be made in cash on site or transferred to the account of the Society of Friends of TU Dortmund University. The total amount will then be donated to Unicef.
