The Campus League in the summer semester is getting even bigger - 24 starting places are up for grabs!
Games will continue to be played on Mondays from 4.15 pm - 10.00 pm on the artificial turf field at the sports building. This summer semester, the Campus League even has room for a total of 24 teams in two groups of twelve. The total of ten preliminary round match days will take place from April 17 - July 03, 2023. Each team will have a double match day. The match dates can still change at short notice, as they depend on the total number of participating teams. The game is played on a half field with youth soccer goals with 6 field players plus goalkeeper. The playing time is 2 x 20 minutes during the season. Each team must provide a referee at least five times during the season for a match of the other group.
The final day is scheduled for July 10. The first six teams in each group (out of 24 teams) qualify for the final day. If a match day has to be cancelled due to weather conditions or if significantly fewer teams register, the date for the final day can still be changed. In case of weather-related cancellations, the match days will be made up. Possible alternative dates will be discussed with the team captains at the preliminary meeting.
To reserve a starting place, only the team captain has to register and indicate the team name. The team captain must have a current sports card. Students of the Technical University, the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund and selected NRW universities are eligible to participate as players (for a list, see here). In addition, employees of the TU Dortmund and the FH Dortmund can also participate in the league. Before the start of the season, all participants must confirm their status by presenting their student ID or staff ID. The squad can include up to 20 players during the summer season.
There will be a mandatory pre-meeting on April 05 (4.00 pm Seminar Room 103 Sports Building) that must be attended by one person per team. If a team does not send a representative, they will not be eligible for a starting spot.
Waiting list: Please sign up for the waiting list as a TEAM only, NOT as an individual player. For individual players, there is an option to send an email to the league coordinators (event.hsp@tu-dortmund.de). The request will then be forwarded to the registered teams.
