Whether Zeybek, Kafkas, Halay or Horon - if you are interested in Anatolian folk dances and group sports, you have come to the right place. Dance sport in Turkey is as diverse as the population itself and contributes a significant piece to the culture of the country. In the Aegean region, people are especially familiar with the "Zeybek" dance, which is considered an imposing dance form, characterized by its slow and at the same time tactful movements. The most famous group dances are "Halay" and "Horon". What counts: The more people join in, the better! All dancers hold hands and form a big chain, where everyone dances according to the same step sequence and forms a unit. So if you feel like dancing together and moving rhythmically and elegantly to the music, this is the right class for you. Basics, combos and choreographies are part of the course.
